The all new Hotelier aptly named ''Simplicity'' is designed around members that require a basic site with minimal information. We have kept some new graphical features such as a slide show for the home page but this new improved version is for anyone wishing to include the basic info plus a kink to the reservations page.

We have taken more time to listen to what our users want which generally isn't a full system that includes lots of unused features, what people want is something simple that does the job!

As with the old version of Hotelier you need the kickstart.php file to install and you can find guides to the effect at our http://www.wickedpassion.net/wiki

The basic install is:

Upload Simplicity to your server (do not unpack!!!!)
Unpack kickstart and upload to your server
Point your browser at kickstart (e.g. http://www.yoursite.com/kickstart.php)
Follow the Onscreen Instructions.
Delete the installation folder.
Login to admin
Visit the Simplicity Wiki http://wickedpassion.net/wiki/index.php?title=Hotelier_4
Visit HotelRes, add your Hotel and Rooms and link from Simplicity to your specific rooms!

Have now completed version two now incorporates full reservation functionality that no longer relies upon a commercial script for bookings. Version two also has an additional patch included which does away with the security vulnerabilities of version one.

The package itself has also halved in size to a modest 10.6 MB although we're still some way from our 6 Mb goal!!

As with version 1 the installation requires that you upload both Hotelier & Kickstart to your root folder.

Before commencing with the download please be aware that you also need kickstart.php to install the software. Kickstart is used to configure the e-commerce components and install the system.

Please note that there is no need to unpack the archived file that you download, simply upload the beta stable version along with kickstart.php to your server space and link to http://yoursite.com/kickstart.php and follow the installation wizard.
